how do you view life?

i find that it is so easy for some people to live in the “this is the worst day of my life” mode.  i a long time ago decided to make my view of life in the “this is the best day of my life” mode.  it is hard some days. it really is isn’t it but i believe it is the only way to live.

we live close to a pig farm, i hear that it smells bad.  we live in a desert, i hear it gets really hot here.  we are in the middle of an election, i hear that we are in difficult times.  i hear but i don’t focus.

i got into a “life is rough” mode a couple of years ago and life became rough.  it was how i viewed it and so i lived it.  now i do realize that some people are having trouble getting around because gas is higher priced but what if we were back when we didn’t have cars, i guess they survived didn’t they?  they just didn’t go to so many places.  wow maybe we could make it if we simplifed where we went.

life can be a challenge but it can also be an opportunity, an opportunity to make a difference, to help people in how they view life.

back when i was in hs i sat in the back of the room because of my last name, williams and my view of the blackboard was fuzzy.  i didn’t realize it was until i got new glasses and my view totally changed for the amazing better.  that is our task, to help people view life in an amazing better way, to help get people’s view of their lives in focus.

praise be to GOD who gives me the victory through HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.  let’s show others the difference that CHRIST makes by viewing our life from that perspective.

Your words come at a time when I really need it. Very inspiring. Sometimes I can get a little down on my views of life and I don’t really like to think that way. I have always been able to find some rosy side of negative things but as I get older, it gets a little harder. Your optimistic attitude really makes a difference to me. It makes me realize that I don’t have to be so cynical. Thanks Pastor Bill, I love you.

It’s funny that you wrote this and I read it at a time that this has been going on around me at work. People have been under pressure because of lots of things. People are easily irritated and are snippy at each other. I view life as if the glass is half full. I’ve been through a lot in life with my experiences as a military dependant and also as a member of the Air Force. When you get right down to it, I’ve lived a pretty humble life. I remember times when we didn’t have a lot because my dad was off to Vietnam defending me and my family. I don’t think I was unhappy without the expensive toys. In fact I was most happy when my farther returned and we just hung out throwing a ball around. WE all need to focus on our family, faith and friends. God will take care of us regardless of what is happening so “don’t sweat the little things and just make everything little.” God is Great and He Will Take Care of You. Thanks for the Words and Thoughts Pastor Bill!
