it works…it really works
i have just gone through an experience where CHRIST’s church works. we have had an awesome family start coming to the church that i pastor who had some it seemed insurmountable needs. i sent out an e-mail and GOD used it to make a difference in the now surmountable needs that they had.
that is what CHRIST’s church is all about and when it works it really is awesome. of course because it is a church that is made up of humans it doesn’t always work but when it does it is awesome.
i am sure glad that i am human and not perfect. that perfect stuff that some people have who are so critical of the church is really a burden isn’t it? i mean you never can make a mistake and you can never be excited when GOD really does make a difference through you.
GOD’s plan works..it really does work and i am so fortunate to be a part of something that made a difference in some very special people. thanks GOD for letting me feel so special myself today. thanks again for letting it work through me.

It so amazing but it should be everyday occurrences with the same enthusiasm.

I agree, it works everyday in many different ways. My favorite book is the Bible and especially the Old Testiment. The stories told there of the faith of some of the Godly people who never knew JESUS… but knew he would come, but still trusted God to deliver them from minor and major circumstances. Like Gideon or David for example. This book gives me much encouragement in my life. There is nothing in this life that MY GOD can’t handle. He is bigger than the mountain in front of my house. He created the beauty that surrounds me in my garden to give me pleasure and sends hummingbirds and a special bird to put a nest right behind my house to watch just for my delight and pleasure! Our only problem as humans is to be patient and get out of the way and let Him handle the situations in our lives. Including helping others.
What happened through that simple e-mail was amazing. But so much more happens that flows under the current. God never does anything by accident nor does he do anything in the way we would expect. He delights in giving us delights. He is always giving us small “jewel” to please and benefit us. God is now in control of Harvest and it is up to Him to reap. He has been growing and pruning and cleaning up after the “winter”. He has “sprouted” new “inspiration” (or growth) in or leaders and we have moved to a location where there is a real need for a place to people to come to a “welcomeing family church”.
yours in Christ
