…where did (do) we go right?
it is so easy to look at the negative, isn’t it? the family of the boy who committed suicide was ministered to in their darkest night by the church. my son, a minister in a church, reached out and my son was there to reach out because of the church…a church was faithful in nurturing him, loving him, believing in him, sharing the good news with him, giving him a place to meet his wife, giving him an opportunity to receive and fulfill his call.
Yes we do fail but we also get it right sometimes, don’t we?

I read a comment one time that said the stinch in the ark would have been unbearable had it not been for the storm outside.
Sometimes the church is not perfect - okay a lot of times the church isn’t perfect - but I can’t think of a place I would rather be during the storm. And even when there are things inside that are hard to deal with, it is so much better than the storm outside.

thanks for posting this… it’s so easy to be critical sometimes!
